Software reset

Step 1: First of all, open a web browser, and in the address bar type “192.168.1.1” and then press enter key. If the IP address of your router has changed then use the new one.

Step 2: In the next step, enter your user name and password. For default settings leave the username tab blank and the password is “Admin”. If you changed the username and password then enter those credentials.

Step 3: Now, you need to click on the login tab.

Step 4: After that, a web-based setup page will appear. On this page click on the administrator tab.

Step 5: In this step, click on the factory default tab.

Step 6: Now, you need to click on the restore factory default tab.

Step 7: After that you have to wait for the power light to become solid.

Step 8: In the final step, open a web browser to test the connection.
